CAMP VERSO L’ALTO
Camp Verso L’Alto College is a Catholic summer camp for college students to gather for a week of formation in solid virtues, growth in authentic friendships, and deepening in real fun. CVLA allows souls to seek the heights of a new life in Christ and presents holiness as the best way of living life. It is an exciting week of camping, hiking, rafting, rock climbing, with daily gospel meditations, rosaries, mass, and adoration.
PILGRIMAGE TO THE GROTTO
The Pilgrimage to the Grotto is a 3-day walking event starting at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salem and ending at the Grotto of Our Lady of Sorrows in Portland.
ST. LUCIA SUMMER MISSION TRIP
The mission trip takes place June and July with a group of 35 Oregon State and Portland State students and volunteers to St. Lucia. The primary goal of the mission is to support the languishing parish there through house visits, one on one encounters, vacation bible school and hosting an adult retreat.
GO FISH
Go Fish is an annual Catholic college student conference on the coast. This annual social and faith-filled weekend getaway is an opportunity to spend time with community and friends, and to dive deep into your faith and celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus.
WALK FOR LIFE
The Walk for Life West Coast is an annual event that takes place each January in San Francisco. We join with OSU Newman for these days of prayer and witness for the sanctity of life.
MEN’S AND WOMEN’S ANNUAL RETREATS
The Annual Retreat is for sophomores and above who have gone through the Alpha program and are now seeking to deepen in their knowledge of the faith and strengthen their prayer life. It is an opportunity to step away from your day-to-day life for a weekend and focus on your relationship with God. This is a silent retreat, and you will have time to yourself to both look back on your past year of spiritual life, and to make a plan for the year to come. The Annual Retreats happen during the fall.
