The Newman Center is the Catholic campus ministry at Portland State University. All its energies are dedicated to the evangelization of students. We want to provide the best resources possible so that students can encounter Christ and start living for Him, with Him and like Him. We reach out on campus, form at the Newman Center, and then send off into the world. Winning the university for Christ is our goal, consequently forming the next generation of leaders. All we do is synthesized in our motto: “STUDENTS FOR CHRIST, CHRISTIANS FOR THE WORLD."
